Erin Bouchard

Erin Bouchard, Counselor (MS, LMSW)

Hello! My name is Erin and I have been providing therapy for almost 4 years and I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years. I received my Master’s in clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida and my BA degree in Psychology from Columbia College. I am actively working towards my LICSW.

I use many different therapy models, but tend to favor a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. I also strongly believe in using a problem- solving approach that is solution-focused. In many diagnoses, a strength- based approach to therapy is also beneficial for empowering clients to live they’re most rewarding and happy lives by living up to their full potential. I have experience working with many client populations, including children, pre-teens, adolescents, adults, and elders. I have experience working in a community health facility providing therapy to children and adolescents and have worked in private practice providing teletherapy and in-person sessions to adolescents and adults. I have had the honor to work with veterans with severe mental health and substance use disorders and have worked in an outpatient treatment center for chemical dependency. My goal for each and every client is to facilitate positive change, improve emotional and social functioning, and improve the overall quality of their lives.

I would like to commend you for taking the first step to get help with the challenges you are facing. It can be difficult to deal with struggles in life that we all face and reaching out for help is not always easy.
