I am an Associate Licensed Counselor and is currently supervised by Joyce McKay, LCP-S. I received my master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. I also received a bachelor’s in criminal justice with a minor in Social Welfare from the University of Alabama. I want to utilize my techniques to help clients to use their resources, skills, and passion during counseling. My goal is to help clients to understand the treatment options that are available, be empowered through knowledge, and to help them to make the best-informed decision and achievable goals throughout counseling. Intervention techniques that are utilized but not limited to are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. I am a member of The American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association and Alabama Counseling Association.
