Addiction Counseling

Luminous Counseling and Consulting specializes in alcohol and drug abuse counseling and as well as other problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, attention deficit disorder which often precede, accompany, become worsened by or result from substance abuse issues. We work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral approach but also incorporates Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical behavioral (DBT).

Drug/Alcohol Screens

As a part of our Co-Occurring and Addictions services, we offer Drug and Alcohol testing. Our onsite drug tests look for 12 illicit substances. Test results can also be sent offsite or GC/MS confirmation. Alcohol testing is also administered.

ASAM/Tests/Assessments

We administer a variety of tests and assessments, including the ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) assessment for alcohol and drug addictions. This assessment is required before placement into many treatment programs.

DOT-SAP/NRC-SAE

We have staff who are DOT-SAP and NRC-SAE, and can provide assessment, treatment recommendations, treatment, and follow-up for organizations that fall under the DOT or NRC.
